•  shared cabin for 6 people, sleeping bag, campfire, 3 meals, guide, hot drinks, summit of Acatenango, gloves, hat, headlamp, park entrance fees, round trip transportation.

•  Hike to the top of Acatenango at sunrise, view of eruptions of the Fuego volcano (if it is active and clear of clouds), hike to the Fuego volcano (Q250.00 extra per person)

•  Q1,800.00 PP / $225 (50% deposit, the rest is paid before the tour starts)

•  4x4 vehicle, shared cabin for 6 people, sleeping, campfire, 3 meals, guide, hot drinks, summit of Acatenango, gloves, hat, headlamp, park entrance fees, round-trip transportation, and a view of eruptions of the Fuego volcano (if active).

• Pick-up and drop-off point: Tanque la Unión, Antigua Guatemala.

• Schedule: 11:00 am to 9:30 am the following day.

GENERAL INFORMATION :

• The cabins can accommodate up to 8 people. They include blankets, pillows, a sleeping bag, and a foam mattress.

• The menu we offer is as follows: o Lunch: baguette with grilled chicken; the vegetarian option is baguette with grilled eggplant (available at our office).

For the hiking tour: o Dinner: spaghetti with tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese; the vegetarian option is spaghetti with red sauce and eggs. o Breakfast: pancakes with natural honey. Any remaining balance is due upon arrival and payment is due to the driver before boarding the vehicle.

 

Reservations and Payments:

• All reservations are made via our WhatsApp number after verifying date availability. Reservations must be made at least one day in advance. If there is availability, reservations can be made on the day of the tour before 10:00 am.

• Reservations must be guaranteed with a percentage of the service cost prior to the tour date, and the full balance must be paid on the day of the tour .

Tour Description

The tour begins in Antigua Guatemala. From there, we head to the start of the ascent (a private property) where you'll fill out a liability waiver required by the property. Once in the 4x4 vehicle, the ascent begins, leading to the viewpoint at 2,500 meters above sea level. The journey continues to 3,500 meters above sea level, which is three-quarters of the way up the Acatenango volcano. At this point, the vehicles are parked, and a 1.8-kilometer hike begins, taking approximately 45 minutes and requiring minimal effort.

 

Participant's responsibility:

* Each participant travels at their own risk. Upon entering the private property, before beginning the ascent, each client must sign a liability waiver.

• We are not responsible for items lost during the tour. Participants are advised to keep their belongings in sight at all times.

• Please bring a photo of your passport or Guatemalan ID (DPI). No other documents will be accepted.

• Please arrive at the boarding point at least 10 minutes early. We have limited time for loading the vehicles.

General Provisions:

• Vehicles for group tours. Only in special circumstances (primarily health-related) requested in advance, may a client be considered for the cab. Otherwise, passengers will be accommodated in the vehicles as they board. This is because many clients are not comfortable sitting in the back, especially when using pickup trucks. If a client wishes to secure a cab seat, they will have to pay an additional Q500.00 or $70.00.

• Right of admission: We reserve the right to refuse admission to any person whose conduct jeopardizes the safety or experience of the group.

• Use of images: We reserve the right to use images and videos captured during the tour for promotional purposes.

• Additional services: Any additional service not detailed in this document can be negotiated, provided it is requested in advance and the type of service is specified.

• Schedule changes: We reserve the right to adjust schedules and routes due to weather conditions, large events, or operational reasons, always guaranteeing a suitable alternative for the passenger.

• Acceptance of terms and conditions: By making a reservation with us, the supplier and the customer accept and agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience's start time.

If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience's start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience's start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience's local time.

This experience requires good weather. If it's canceled due to poor weather, or a mechanical failure, you'll be offered a different date or a full refund.

GENERALIDADES: • Las cabañas tienen espacio para albergar un máximo de 8 personas. Incluyen cobijas, almohadas, bolsa de dormir y colchón de espuma. • El menú que ofrecemos es el siguiente: o Almuerzo: pan baguete con pollo a la parrilla y la opción vegetariana es pan baguete con berenjena a la plancha (se entrega en nuestra oficina). Para el tour de hike: o Cena: espagueti con salsa de tomate y queso parmesano y la opción vegetariana es espagueti con salsa roja y huevos. o Desayuno: panqueques con miel natural. Pago pendiente se hace al piloto antes de abordar el vehículo.

 

Reservaciones y pagos: • Todas las reservaciones se hacen por medio de nuestro número de WhatsApp previo a verificar disponibilidad de fechas. Las reservas deben realizarse con al menos 1 día de anticipación. Si hay disponibilidad se puede reservar el mismo día del tour antes de las 10:00 am. • Las reservas se deben garantizar con un porcentaje del costo del servicio adquirido previo a la fecha del mismo, debiendo estar pagado en su totalidad el día del tour.​​

Descripción del Tour

Inicia en Antigua Guatemala, luego nos dirigimos hacia el inicio del ascenso (finca privada) donde llenas un contrato de descargo de responsabilidad requerido por la propia finca. Ya en el vehículo 4x4 se comienza el ascenso para llegar al mirador a 2,500msnm, luego se sigue la travesía hasta llegar a los 3,500 msnm que son ¾ del volcán Acatenango donde se parquean los vehículos y se inicia realiza una caminata de 1.8 kilómetros que se realiza aproximadamente en 45 minutos y la exigencia no es alta.

 

Responsabilidad del participante:

• Cada participante viaja bajo su propia responsabilidad y riesgo. Al ingresar a la finca privada, antes de iniciar el ascenso cada cliente debe firmar un contrato de descargo de responsabilidad. • No nos hacemos responsables por objetos extraviados durante el tour. Se recomienda a los participantes mantener sus pertenencias siempre a la vista. • Llevar consigo la foto de su pasaporte o DPI en el caso de ser guatemaltecos. NO se aceptan otros documentos que no sean estos. • Estar por lo menos 10 minutos antes en el punto de abordaje. Tenemos un tiempo limitado para carga de los vehículos.

Disposiciones generales: • Vehículos para tours colectivos. Solo por alguna condición especial (principalmente de salud) solicitada con anticipación, se puede considerar que algún cliente ocupe la cabina. De lo contrario se acomodan dentro de los vehículos conforme van subiendo. Esto debido a que no muchos están de acuerdo a ir en la parte de atrás sobre todo cuando se utilizan los pick ups. Si el cliente quiere asegurar un asiento en cabina tendrá que pagar Q500.00 o $70.00 adicionales. • Derecho de admisión: Nos reservamos el derecho de admisión a cualquier persona cuya conducta ponga en riesgo la seguridad o experiencia del grupo. • Uso de imágenes: Nos reservamos el derecho de utilizar imágenes y videos capturados durante el tour para fines promocionales. • Servicios adicionales: Cualquier servicio adicional que no se detalle dentro de este documento puede negociarse siempre y cuando se solicite con anticipación y se especifique el tipo de servicio. • Cambios en programación: Nos reservamos el derecho de ajustar horarios y rutas debido a condiciones climáticas, eventos masivos o razones operativas, garantizando siempre una alternativa adecuada para el pasajero. • Aceptación de términos y condiciones: Al realizar una reserva con nosotros, el proveedor y el cliente aceptan y se comprometen a cumplir con estos términos y condiciones.
